An Australian clean energy innovation using wave energy technology was successful off the coast of King Island in the Bass Strait.
However, the Melbourne-based company behind the country’s first successful wave energy trial says it is unlikely to set up in Australia, due to a lack of political and financial support. Now the machine’s components are being dismantled for recycling.
