Electric Vehicle Ready – NSW Government Grant

NSW EV Government Grants are now available for Strata.

As part of the NSW governments Electric Vehicle Strategy, they have implemented a grant that will assist the Strata Community in being able to implement EV charging in their buildings.  The Grant is in two stages.

Stage 1 – Pre-application. A nominated person from the Strata Plan submits their application which will facilitate co-funding of a feasibility assessment for the building. This will initially cost the scheme $2000, and the NSW Govt. will contribute the other $2,000 towards this. Alternatively, is they have already completed an assessment with a provider outside the grant scheme, this can be reviewed for acceptability to move to stage 2.

Stage 2 – The grant will then co-fund the installation of EV infrastructure for the building to the value of 80% of the installation or up to a maximum of $80,000. This can be installed by a provider of your choosing.
